Terms of Service

Last updated: Draft — not yet published

Draft for review. This is a starting template, not a final legal document — have it reviewed by a qualified lawyer for your jurisdiction before publishing it live.

1. Acceptance of these terms

By creating an account or using FlashWorkz (the “Service”), you agree to these Terms of Service. If you don't agree, please don't use the Service.

2. What the Service is

FlashWorkz connects people who need a job done (“Providers”) with people who do that kind of work (“Workers”). We provide matching, identity verification, and a record of each job — we are not a party to the work itself, and we do not employ Workers or supervise the jobs they perform.

3. Accounts and verification

Accounts are created and accessed using your phone number and a one-time code — we don't use passwords. You're responsible for keeping access to your registered phone number secure.

Workers complete an identity verification step before accepting jobs. Providing false identity information, or attempting to circumvent verification, is a violation of these terms and may result in account suspension.

4. Job arrangements and payment

Job details (scope, price, schedule) are agreed directly between the Provider and Worker. Payment for completed work is also settled directly between the two parties — the Service does not process, hold, or guarantee payment.

Start and completion of a job are each confirmed with a one-time code exchanged between the Provider and Worker in person. This confirms the job happened; it does not confirm payment was made.

5. Reviews

After a job is marked complete, either party may leave a rating and review of the other. Reviews should reflect genuine experience — we may remove reviews that are fraudulent, abusive, or unrelated to the job performed.

6. Acceptable use

You agree not to:

  • Provide false information about your identity, skills, or a job.
  • Use the Service to solicit or arrange anything unlawful.
  • Harass, threaten, or discriminate against another user.
  • Attempt to circumvent identity verification or the OTP confirmation flow.
  • Interfere with the Service's normal operation (e.g. scraping, abuse of rate limits).

7. Suspension and termination

We may suspend or terminate an account that violates these terms, including for fraudulent verification, harassment, or repeated no-shows confirmed through the job record. You may stop using the Service and request account deletion at any time.

8. Disclaimers and limitation of liability

The Service is provided “as is.” We don't guarantee the quality, safety, or legality of any job performed by a Worker, or that a Provider will pay as agreed. To the fullest extent permitted by law, FlashWorkz is not liable for disputes, damages, or losses arising from a job arranged through the Service.

9. Changes to these terms

We may update these terms from time to time. Continued use of the Service after a change means you accept the updated terms.
